  use "prb" mode in revtex (for superscript citing).
• 
  use "nobibnotes" option to put \thanks{} message
  on the footnote.
• 
  to BOLD the number of the reference list, put

  \renewcommand{\bibnumfmt}[1]{\textbf{#1.}}

  in the preamble. Then, it'll be

  1. A. Bcdef, blah, blah, blah.
  2. G. Hijk, blah, blah, blah.
