In the main text, Dave wroteI compared these programs with freely available equivalents where possible.
I do not know how good Transcribe! is, but I believe that,
Alas, Transcribe! doesn't really have a competitor,
though Chris Cannam's Sonic Visualiser and
the outstanding CLAM project provide similar tools.
after introducing the phase-vocoder correction,
the WaoN is not so bad.
If you know only the old versions (or if you don't know WaoN at all),
just give it a try the recent version!
